Chawan and yunomi in raku
60,00€ Taxes included
These are two pieces of japanese style. A chawan is the bowl used in the tea ceremony an a yunomi is the most common teacup, used for daily informal drinking. These pieces in particular, are modeled by hand and processed with an ancient japanese technique called raku. This technique gives the pieces the rustic, aged, imperfect and hazardous look they have. I’m sure you’ll find that the nice sensation that comes with drinking warm tea is reinforced and amplified when you drink from such unique pieces.
Chawan size: high 8 cm (3.1 in) / diameter 12 cm (4.7 in)
Yunomi: high 6.5 cm (2.5 in) / diameter 9 cm (3.5 in)
DO NOT use microwave or dishwasher on these pieces.
