Tea jar in raku pottery

This is a tea jar where you can keep dry your herbs. Is a unique piece, fired using an antique japanese technique called raku. In this technique the fire gives the pieces a rustic, aged, imperfect and random appearance.

High (no lid): 12 cm / 4.7 in
Diameter: 10 cm / 3.9 in
Capacity: 550 cm3

DO NOT put on microwave or dishwasher.

I produce all my pottery by hand, at my workshop, fllowing a process respectful of the environment.
